Is learning from an old experience  mean avoiding it altogether in the future or dealing with it differently?

  1. It could be either depending upon the situation, and what the experience has taught you. If you know that the outcome is going to be bad, no matter what you do, then it may be better to avoid. In situations where there is still going to be a small chance of devastating results, better to avoid it! On the other hand, if change in your action (not someone else’s) could have made a positive difference, then you might want to try that out. Be willing to learn again!
